Highlight – The Legendary Banana Cake
It was a night of delicious treats, as our Toastmaster of the Evening (TME), Supatra Lee CC ALB*, brought and shared with us her legendary banana cake.
Freshly baked from the oven the very day itself, it was definitely a delectable treat for all members and guests present.

Our meeting started on time at 7:30pm, with the introduction from our Seargent-at-arms (SAA), Wilson Kong VC1*, on the mission of toastmasters, education pathways as well as the house rules that all members and guests will need to abide by.
And we had a total of 4 guests who took turns to introduce themselves, and they were Syazwana, Amalina and her daughter Amani, as well as Muhd Izan.
TME Supatra took over not long after, and she proceeded to ask each individual role players to introduce their own tasks during the meeting, as well as sharing her thought of the day.
There were a total of 6 role players. And they were:

The speeches segment of the meeting started with the table topics session led by Rano, and we had a total of 5 table topic speakers.
First table topic speaker was Heidi, whose topic was ‘If you could have chosen your own name, what would it be?’ And she said she would always stick to her own name Heidi.
Second table topic speaker was Aziman, whose topic was ‘If you could fix one world problem, what would it be?’ He said he wanted to eradicate and eliminate world hunger.
Third table topic speaker was our guest Syazwana, and her topic was ‘If you want to be famous, in what way you want to be famous?’ Syaz shared she wanted to be known for bettering other people’s lives.
Fourth table topic speaker was Syahnur, and his topic was ‘If you have an obstacle, would it be in the heart or the mind?’ Syahnur gave a very technical answer in that the heart cannot think, so it would be in the mind.
Fifth and last table topic speaker was Nabil, and his topic was ‘If you are not in the training industry, what would be your ideal job?’ Nabil wanted to be a bed tester whereby one sleeps on the new mattress and provide a report the quality of the mattress.
With the conclusion of the table topics, we moved on to the prepared speeches.
First prepared speech was by Ted Jee PM4*, with speech titled ‘Cat & Mouse’. This was an ice-breaker speech as Ted is currently on his second new pathway. Prior to the speech, we first heard from his speech evaluator, Lai Ling Ling PM5 TC2*, on the speech objective.
Second prepared speech was by TM Khairuddin Metussin, with speech titled ‘The Royal Disease’. Prior to the prepared speech, we first heard from Sharon Lim PM2*, Khai’s speech evaluator, on the speech objective.
Third prepared speech was by TM Aditia Salalu, with his speech titled ‘The Circular Shape’. His speech evaluator, Megat Arif EC2*, gave us a run down on the speech objective prior to Adi’s speech.

Evaluation session began after a short break and was led by our General Evaluator (GE) Hazwan, where he called each of the evaluators and role-players to present their reports.

With the conclusion of the evaluation session, our president Rano took over for his closing remarks. There were also presentation for best table topic speakers and best evaluator and they went to:
