On August 8th, members and guests were treated to a wonderful CC7 speech by TM Hjh Haryati Hj Abd Gafur on the importance of environmental awareness and the impact of throwing rubbish everywhere. Aptly titled "Choose to refuse" , TM Haryati urged everyone that night to be more aware of their actions when it comes to plastic littering and encouraged the keeping of land and water environment clean and safe for all.
The night's club meeting also gave an opportunity to first time Table Topics Master, TM Wong Hui Ting, in giving her participants an impromptu 2 minutes spotlight, themed around "Bucketlists".
The club meeting ended with ribbon giveaways. Immediate Past President Jordan Yau, CL, won 'Best Table Topics' with his to-do motto, "Why not!?". The 'Best Evaluator' Ribbon was presented to TM Syatrah Roslan who was the "Ah Counter & Who Said What". TM Lim Mei Ann received her 'Halfway to Competent Communicator' Ribbon.
